TEAM LISTINGS ACCORDING TO DRAFT ORDER

'The Show'

Re/Max
A shocking development here as coach Stewart snagged 20-year veteran Chris Sanders who was left unprotected by Team Fody. Sanders reluctantly waived his no-trade clause with his dad grinning from ear-to-ear in the background. Kevin Verbruggen was taken as well so things might be quiet at the shop for a while. The team had to part with long-serving veterans Dana and Chad as there was no room at the inn with mandatory roster reductions.

Fody Automotive Plus  Coach Fody rolled the dice on former Thunder player Jarret McArthur and also welcomed back Kevin VanKooten who we haven't seen in a while. After the draft Mike Mudford was acquired from Agrospray who came calling for the highly-coveted Jordan Bruckler. In a later development, news came in that Sean Jansen has refused to report so they have signed free-agent Mike Bouw to a one-year contract.

Verne's Carpet One  Tough to get on this team if you don't have a relative in the fold. New coach Kyle Smith demonstrated his savvy by strategically replacing the loss of the Martin bothers with a pair of Whitesides. The VanWyks will lead the charge while the Smith brothers set up the attack.

Agrospray  Coach Davis will feel the loss of Adam Vandepoele but 'B' scoring champ Dan King may prove to be a dark horse as he also scored twice in 3 games as a call-up. If coach's brother Jamie shows any signs of his former glory the team may prove to be as formidable as ever.

The Super 'B's -as the top-level players from 6 teams amalgamate into 4 and we add in some "casualties" from the 'A' this should prove to be the strongest-looking 'B' Division ever assembled.

Team Visscher  Coach Cody Wilson suffered some losses in the off-season but has rebounded with the acquisition of Zac McNally and Chis Koteles from The Show. Stingy Nolan Collard still guards the net so these guys will be tough to beat.

Airmount Farms  Coach Wayne Hare has rolled the dice on rookie goaltender Eric Elver and has scooped free-agent JJ Harden. If the 'Fozzie-bear' has been keeping up with his pre-season workouts the team will be a force.

B-Line Trucking  Thanks to new sponsor Kurtis Burton we will have a set of non-conflicting jerseys so John will know who he is passing to. The former Glass team welcomes back the loquacious Sean Orpen to pump some energy into the locker room. Andrew Jacko brings experience, Nate Bisschop adds speed and scoring and a late-round steal of Adam Jensen is making the bookies salivate.

McKenzie CarQuest  A very good draft, as always, from coaches Ferguson and Shearer. They had to sharpen their pencils with the loss of 35-goal scorer Dan King who has been promoted by Agrospray. The team welcomes Steve Moylan back to the league and has acquired Zach DeWachter and the hard-working Chad Homick from the 'A'. The addition of Dylan Cronmiller will give them more speed if he is getting enough sleep at night.

Our New 'C' Div - one and done or the start of something more permanent?

I know some players are disappointed when they get 'dropped down' but it's a new era and we just have to adjust and be happy about being able to play. We may go back to some sort of 'normal' next season but nobody knows for sure.

As I look over the 'C' rosters I think this is going to a pretty good division.

Source for Sports  Coach Patrick Dion has assembled a very good mix of speed and experience. He is familiar with Ryan Austin, Chase Corbeil, Ty Hoshal and Andrew Behrens who were all in the lineup for Source last season.

Royal LePage R.E. Wood Realty - The only thing slowing this team down might be the weight of all the jersey letters. Coach and sponsor Brandon Koppert has retained Cory VanHappen and Jason Koteles from the Copper Mug roster. Chris Wilson is an unknown commodity and the team is on the hunt for one more player to be added.

Tillsonburg Glass - General Manager Blair Kersten may be looking to appoint Wade Kirby as coach. He was quick to stop the free-fall of Dana Kobayashi and also added Brent Iler, a familiar face from last season. Special teams will be an issue if Mike Hackney and the officials can't reach an agreement on how the game should be played. The team is searching for one more addition to their roster.

Rockway Excavating & Landscaping - Coach Marty Maerten welcomes Mike Schmeltz and Matt Gehring back to the league and has taken a flyer on newcomer Noah Mulholland, hoping he has his brother's talent. Video expert Cody Maerten will be fitted with a 'Go-Pro' to keep tabs on the action as he makes his debut as a player.
